Video: Dr. Mark Goldberg on a new stroke protocol for ED nurses

DALLAS – August 18, 2017 – Researchers at UT Southwestern are taking a cue from NASCAR on how to put the brakes on stroke – the country’s leading cause of long-term disability. A statewide study being conducted by the Lone Star Stroke Consrotium is using a pit stop model to train nursing staff at hospitals across Texas.
